Wireless Cameras

NO CABLES !

The SwimPro engineers have delivered a complete multi-camera wireless solution for 1/10th set-up time and totally eliminates video cables on pool deck! Our new wireless systems are totally portable, small in size and light weight. Simply plug a SwimPro wireless module into a SwimPro camera and start coaching.

Purchase a SwimPro camera with a Wireless Module or if you already have a SwimPro 2.0 camera with cable, you can simply purchase a SwimPro Wireless Module to completely eliminate cable.

1080p HD Recording

Clear/crisp swimming video images are essential for athlete analysis. All SwimPro cameras deliver a crystal clear 1920 by 1080 progressive video frame (1080P) or ~2.0 megapixels per frame. We tested clarity with the Australian Institute of Sport at their training complex in Canberra Australia and results were outstanding. Comments such as "you can count the tiles at the end of the 50m pool" from the head video analyst is when you know that you have achieved elite level video quality.

iPad Analysis App

The new SwimPro iPad Analysis App gives you access to all SwimPro cameras through an iPad. Our new iPad work-flow function allows you to make a swimming video recording and record a coaching voice overlay, while illustrating on the screen. The work-flow process is as follows:

  • 1. turn on SwimPro camera, iPad App and IQ2
  • 2. select camera on iPad App
  • 3. start record, stop record
  • 4. select video, press coach voice record and record your voice and draw on the screen

Coaching video, voice and drawings are stored in the one video file on your SwimPro IQ2 and/or your SwimmingCloud Video Sharing Account.

Coach Voice Overlay

During or after swimming training, coaches can make audio and drawing overlays on videos for athletes. The videos are then stored on your IQ2 and/or on your SwimmingCloud Video Sharing Account. Athletes and swimming coaches can then log into the account (following your permission) and view the coaching videos.

SwimmingCloud - Video Sharing

Introducing our brand new SwimmingCloud swimming video sharing service. With a SwimmingCloud Super-Coach Account, videos you allocate will be uploaded to the SwimmingCloud for storage and viewing. You can then allocate other SwimmingCloud accounts to view your SwimmingCloud videos from anywhere across the globe.

Delayed Playback

Our SwimPro delayed playback function is included. You can set a delayed playback time and let the SwimPro IQ2 Analysis Recorder do the coaching for you.

This function is extremely popular amongst clubs with larger squads or coaches who do not have the pool deck time. The IQ2 Analysis Recorder simply plays back the live video stream 15 seconds (for example) later. Athletes execute a turn, stroke or start, move to the side, look up at the TV screen or monitor and self-learn. Best of all, this feedback is given while the motor skills of the athlete are fresh in the mind.

Crystal Frame Technology

Swimming Video Frame Rate

SwimPro Crystal Frame captures 30 progressive video frames in one second or 33.3ms per video frame. A swimmer's hand can travel at a maximum speed of 10ft/s or 3m/s, therefore the displacement distance between the swimmer's hand in 2 consecutive frames will be ~4in or 10cm. This design specification provides coaches with more than adequate data for super slow motion analysis and keeps video size down (~1MB/s for 1080P setting)

High Shutter Speed Technology

Each progressive video frame was designed to capture objects travelling up to ~184ft/s or 56m/s. A swimmer's fingertips travel at a maximum speed of ~10ft/s or 3m/s. Therefore, every frame that a SwimPro camera captures will be crystal clear with no visible signs of blur (in high/preferred lighting conditions). In a preferred light condition example, a shutter speed of up to 1/10000 seconds can be manually selected to achieve crystal clear, frame-by-frame video.

e.g. Set a shutter speed of 1/10000s. This will populate each video frame with 100 micro seconds of light. 100 micro seconds represents a swimmer's hand movement of 0.0118in or 0.3mm.

USB 3.0

USB 3.0 SuperSpeed(SS @ 60MB/s) offers more than 10x the speed of USB 2.0.

  • Download a 10min video training session in 10 seconds!
  • Download a 1 hour swimming video training session in 1 min.
  • USB 3.0 makes video distribution and storage extremely FAST! Athletes can purchase or you can sell USB 3.0 USB thumb drives of their swimming video to them.

No longer do you feel the need to delete videos, purchase a USB 3.0 thumb drive or external hard-drive and store your videos.

Real Time + Post Session Analysis

Our SwimPro IQ2 comes packed with SwimPro's cutting edge analysis software. Whether you're on pool-deck or post session, our SwimPro Analysis Software gives you the power to frame-by-frame analyze and give direct feedback to your athletes. Coaching voice overlay and drawing notes can also be recorded over the top of each video and shared with an athlete via USB3.0 and/or SwimmingCloud.

Pool-deck Work-flow

SwimPro was developed with pool-deck work-flow in mind. We have been working with the Australian Institute of Sport to achieve superior portability and work-flow. Coaches can now walk on to pool deck, turn on their SwimPro camera and make swimming videos in under 3 minutes*. Portability, fast set-up, video recording, video overlay and sharing is now optimized so make SwimPro a pool-deck and post-session asset!

*Tested with a typical SwimPro Platinum Plus with IQ2 set-up at Newcastle University.
